Isothermal Systems Research Inc., which for a time was a sizable employer here, formally has dissolved as a corporation.
The Liberty Lake-based company, which developed SprayCool and other technologies for cooling electronics, filed articles of dissolution with the Washington state Secretary of State last month.
A notice of the dissolution listed Paul Sestili, managing director of San Francisco-based Mezzanine Capital Partners, as chairman of the board for ISR. Attempts to reach Sestili were unsuccessful.
Founded in 1988 by brothers Don and Charles Tilton, ISR was based in Clarkston, Wash., until moving to Liberty Lake in 2002. Working largely as a defense contractor, the company grew rapidly in the 2000s, employing about 260 people in 2005.
The company restructured in 2007 and began doing business under the SprayCool name.
Last year, a division of Cleveland-based Parker Hannifin Corp. bought SprayCool Data Systems Inc. and added SprayCool to the Parker Hannifin gas-turbine fuel systems division. Parker Hannifin has maintained a presence in Liberty Lake. Last year, Parker Hannifin reported that it employed 43 people at the Liberty Lake facility.
