Spokane-based Inland Imaging has partnered with Providence St. Mary Medical Center to provide subspecialty radiology services in southeast Washington state.
The partnership will fold the five radiology physicians currently working at St. Mary into Inland Imaging, but they will remain at the hospital, says a press release from Inland Imaging.
A representative of the company couldn’t be reached for further comment.
Providence St. Mary is located at 401 W. Poplar, Walla Walla, about 150 miles southwest of Spokane. It offers preventative, diagnostic, treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation services through its centers and specialty groups.
“Inland Imaging gives us considerably more depth on the bench because of its size,” Paul Conklin, director of imaging at Providence St. Mary, says in the release. “They have a large group of subspecialists, which gives our patients more access to specialists in difficult, complex cases.”
Sarah Russell, chief operating officer at Inland Imaging, says in the release, “The addition of the radiology team at Providence St. Mary’s will allow us to expand and better connect subspecialized radiology services throughout the northwest.”
Inland Imaging began offering subspecialty radiology services at St. Mary on July 1.
In addition to its partnership with St. Mary, Inland Imaging announced it also has inked an agreement with Dayton General Hospital, a member of the Columbia County Health System, to provide 24/7 subspecialty radiology analysis. The hospital is located in Dayton, Washington, about 30 miles northeast of Walla Walla.
