The new medical education building is taking shape at the southwest corner of Spokane Falls Boulevard and Hamilton Street. The University of Washington and Gonzaga University have agreed to a long-term lease of the four-story, 90,000-square-foot structure, which will house the UW-GU Health Partnership program and other programs. McKinstry Corp. is developing the $60 million structure. Bouten Construction, of Spokane, is the general contractor, and Seattle-based CollinsWoerman designed it.
