The Washington Clean Energy Leadership Council will host the Spokane Clean Energy Industry Event on Friday, Sept. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. The city of Spokane Valley will hold a community workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague, to review the draft of a plan for its Bike and Pedestrian Master Program. The program seeks to make bicycling and walking a safer and easier alternative for getting around in Spokane Valley.
