National commercial law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP has opened an office on the 14th floor of the Wells Fargo building, at 601 W. First, in downtown Spokane.
According to a release on the Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani website, the San Francisco-based firm opened its 72nd office overall here on Monday, Oct 4. The firm’s team of eight attorneys focus on several areas, including business transactions, construction, intellectual property, employment law, and insurance law.
Meredith Thielbahr is managing partner at the Spokane office. Thielbahr has worked at the firm’s Seattle office since 2017.
“We have seen enormous growth in Eastern Washington and North Idaho,” Thielbahr says in the release. “On behalf of the firm and personally, I am excited to offer our services to this community. I look forward to connecting with the people and businesses in this area.”
The company claims that, in 2019, it became the first U.S. law firm to open offices in all 50 states. Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani now has more than 1,000 lawyers at more than 70 offices in the U.S., according to the firm’s website.
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani was founded in 1974 in Seattle by attorneys Stu Gordon and Don Rees. In 2014, the firm’s name expanded to include partners Miles Scully and Roger Mansukhani.
