The Spokane Foot Clinic PS, a longtime podiatry practice here, says it has opened a new clinic in Liberty Lake.
The clinic is located at 2207 N. Molter, where it shares space with Liberty Lake Family & Sports Medicine PS and North Idaho Dermatology PA.
The clinic will be staffed on Thursday mornings, and hours and days will increase commensurate with the number of patients, says Renee Batt, the practice's Spokane-based office manager.
Spokane Foot Clinic also operates three Spokane-area clinics as well as clinics in Deer Park and Ritzville.
The Spokane-area clinics are located on the North Side, at 123 W. Francis; on the South Hill, at 3141 E. 29th; and in Spokane Valley, at 606 N. Pines.
The Liberty Lake clinic will have the full range of services provided in the practice's other clinics, Batt says.
Dr. Douglas Romney founded the podiatry practice in Spokane in 1982.
Since then, three ankle and foot specialistsDr. James Porter, Dr. Greg Brockbank, and Dr. Katie Swanstromhave joined the practice, rotating between offices.
Podiatrists diagnose and treat foot and ankle disorders, injuries, and infections.
The doctors also perform foot and ankle surgeries in all area hospitals and at the practice's surgery center on Francis Avenue, Batt says.
Brockback and Swanstrom will provide services at the Liberty Lake clinic initially, Batt says.
The practice has a support staff of 15 employees.
