Green energy technology company FlyBack Energy Inc. has leased an 8,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by TRC Tire Sales LLC, at 102 S. Flora Road, in Spokane Valley, and has consolidated its operations there, says Paul Babcock, company president vice president.
The company had been based at 7721 E. Trent, also in Spokane Valley, and had some operations in two other locations, Babcock says, adding that the building along Flora provides larger quarters than the collective space FlyBack had occupied.
FlyBack develops energy-conserving technology and devices, such as a dimming controller for commercial and industrial lighting systems.
“We’re expanding our lab and developing more products,” Babcock says. “This allows us to consolidate and get prepared for some growth.”
Cory Barbieri, of Goodale & Barbieri Co.; Joel Crosby, of Coldwell Banker Tomlinson South; and Terry Tombari, of Tombari Properties LLC, handled the lease.
Babcock says FlyBack has seven employees, and the company is looking to expand its staff.
Meantime, TRC, which does business as TRC Industries, has leased 2,000 square feet of space in the Regal Place professional building at 4102 S. Regal. Barbieri also handled that transaction.
Tommy Servine, owner of TRC, says the business is doing well, but the Flora Road building, which is owned by a related company, TRC Holdings LLC, has more space than the company needs.
TRC Tire Sales, which specializes in selling massive tires for mining and industrial equipment, has eight employees.
