Lee & Hayes PLLC, a Spokane-based intellectual property law firm, announced today that it has acquired Atlanta-based Hope & Baldauff LLC.
The Georgia patent-law firm has 11 attorneys, two patent agents, and six support staff members, all of whom have joined Lee & Hayes. Its client list includes Seattle area-based companies such as Microsoft Corp., Boeing Co., and Amazon.com Inc.
Lewis Lee, co-founder and chairman of Lee & Hayes, said in a press release, “Hope Bauldaff’s culture—one that is innovative and transcends the traditional law firm operations model—is a natural fit for Lee & Hayes.” He also asserted, “Their patent experience and talent is unrivaled.”
The Atlanta office is Lee & Hayes’ seventh location and its fourth new office since 2011. In addition to Spokane and Atlanta, the firm has offices in Seattle; Vancouver, Wash.; Washington, D.C.; Austin, Texas; and Rochester, N.Y.
In all, 145 people work at Lee & Hayes, including 85 attorneys and patent agents.
