Fidelity Associates Financial Services Inc., a Spokane-based insurance and employee-benefits brokerage with roots dating back to 1906, has sold its assets to Chicago-based Hub International Ltd.
Hub International didn’t disclose the terms of the transaction, but the company says Fidelity will become part of Hub International’s Northwest operations, which include 18 offices and more than 300 employees.
Scott Jones, president and CEO of Fidelity, will join Hub Northwest as executive vice president and will continue his current client relationships, Hub says in a release. His brother and Fidelity co-owner Craig Jones will continue with the company as an account executive.
The rest of Fidelity’s team will continue to operate from its current location, just south of downtown at 501 S. Bernard. As of last September, Fidelity employed a total of 39 people here, according to information provided to the Journal for its Employee Benefits Brokers list.
