Joe Garst, owner of Windermere City Group LLC, has purchased 5,600 square feet of office space in a 13,000-square-foot building at 1237 W. Summit Parkway.
The two-story building is located in Kendall Yards, the Greenstone Corp. development in the West Central neighborhood, just northwest of downtown.
Windermere City Group had leased the space formerly owned by Liberty Lake-based Greenstone affiliate Kendall Commercial I LLC for more than two years.
The agency has grown to 32 agents since moving into the Kendall Commercial I space with its views toward the downtown skyline and overlooking the Spokane River, Garst says.
Windermere City Group, a Spokane franchise of Seattle-based Windermere Real Estate, is primarily a residential real estate brokerage, although it handles some commercial real estate transactions, says Garst, who brokered the purchase.
Washington state Department of Revenue records list the purchase price at $1.5 million.
The 3-year-old building was one of the first commercial structures to be erected in the 78-acre Kendall Yards urban village development.
Spa Paradiso occupies a 7,500-square-foot suite in the building.
