Nonprofit health services provider Community Health Association of Spokane has opened a new clinic at 5620 S. Regal, on Spokane’s South Hill.
Kelly Halverson, vice president of administrative services for CHAS, says the new clinic is meant to help serve the growing patient population in that area.
The clinic, known as CHAS Health Southgate, opened Monday, Jan. 14, and is budgeted for a staff of up to 25 full-time employees.
CHAS is leasing the 5,800-square-foot space, which is located in the 57th and Regal Center retail complex.
She says the clinic offers comprehensive medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services with a team experienced in family medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health care.
“This location provides several services all under one roof, including primary care for adults and kids, behavioral health services, and an on-site pharmacy,” says Halverson. “Going forward, we’d like this to be a one-stop shop for folks who are looking to establish care.”
Halverson says Spokane-based Baker Construction & Development Inc. recently completed tenant improvements at the new space to suit CHAS’ needs.
She says the new clinic is CHAS Health’s 13th in Spokane County. In addition to its Spokane County clinics, CHAS also operates three Idaho clinics in the Moscow and Lewiston areas.
