Unico Properties LLC, a Seattle-based real estate investment company, has submitted a permit application to the city of Spokane calling for almost $1 million in tenant improvements at one of four office buildings in the Rock Pointe Corporate Center.
Carpita Construction LLC, of Newman Lake, is listed as the project’s general contractor. The project valuation is listed as $950,000, plans say.
John Gavin, a Unico property manager in Spokane, couldn’t be reached immediately for additional comment about the plans.
The permit application calls for the remodeling of more than 27,000 square feet of office space on the fourth and fifth floors in the building known as the Rock Pointe Tower, at 316 W. Boone, according to city records.
The work proposed on the application includes “paint, carpet, doors, relights, HVAC reconfigure, reconfigure existing lights and controls, cabinets, fire alarms, and limited sprinkler work.”
Unico Properties, a subsidiary of Unico Investment Group LLC, also based in Seattle, manages the 11-acre corporate center on the periphery of downtown at the northeast corner of Boone Avenue and Washington Street. The campus consists of four office buildings with a total of nearly 559,000 square feet of floor space.
Unico Properties LLC acquired the complex in 2014.
