Across the street, a multimillion-dollar renovation and rebrand project began at what was then known as The Davenport Lusso.
Renovations are nearly finished at The Louie, as its now called, and the 48-room hotel is expected to open back up to guests on April 1.
The hotel collection has 950 employees in the Spokane area.
Davenport Hotels was acquired by Denver-based KSL Capital Partners LLC in 2021 upon the retirement of previous owners Walt and Karen Worthy.
