International real estate company Engel & Völkers is making its presence known on Inland Northwest main streets.
Twenty months after opening its Spokane office in a second-floor suite in River Park Square, at 808 W. Main, downtown, the company has opened a Coeur d’Alene office at 2040 N. Main, in the Village at Riverstone.
“It’s a powerful brand,” asserts Engel & Völkers’ managing partner Alex Ganea of the boutique franchise real estate company. “It just makes perfect sense to have a presence in Coeur d’Alene.”
Ganea will operate the company along with Benjamin Baker, providing service to homebuyers and sellers in North Idaho cities of Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Sandpoint, and Rathdrum, he says.
Ganea says the arrival and spread of the coronavirus has pushed back the opening of a Sandpoint, Idaho, office to next year.
Founded in 1977 in Hamburg, Germany, the luxury real estate brand has a presence in more than 30 countries. The company currently operates 225 property offices with more than 12,000 real estate professionals, according its website.
The Spokane office, which opened on Jan. 2, 2019, has three full-time employees, and the Coeur d’Alene office has two full-time workers. In all, Engel & Völkers has 27 independently license real estate agents in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene markets, he says.
A 23-year resident of Spokane, Ganea became a licensed real estate agent in 2003.
“I’ve had the fortune of being around a lot of great real estate agents through the years. There’s always been a high regard for Engel & Völkers throughout the industry,” Ganea claims. “The company is known for having a high standard of services for customers.”
In a press release announcing the establishment of the Coeur d’ Alene office, Anthony Hitt, CEO and president of Engel & Völkers Americas Inc. says, “Given Alex’s and Benjamin’s extensive knowledge and deep familiarity with the local community, and the nuances of its distinct real estates market and high-end clientele, they are the ideal leaders to expand our presence in establishing a dedicated Coeur d’Alene location.”
