Paradigm Owners Rep Services, a trade name for Boise, Idaho-based project management consulting company Paradigm of Idaho Inc., has opened a satellite office in downtown Coeur d’Alene, says Ken Fisher, company owner and president.
Paradigm has leased an office suite at the co-working hub, SpaceShare CDA, located at 409 Coeur d’Alene, about five blocks northeast of the Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Fisher says the company has been consulting on projects in North Idaho in recent years and has noticed little competition for the types of services Paradigm provides.
“One of my senior project managers moved up to Coeur d’Alene, and we’re actively looking at a school and a couple of other projects,” Fisher says.
The Coeur d’Alene office currently has one employee. Fisher says he will increase the office size once Paradigm begins to bring in more local work.
Paradigm of Idaho was established in 2006 in Boise to represent owners on construction projects. The company works with owners to find the right match when selecting contractors and architects for their projects, then works on the project from concept to completion, focusing on cost-effective strategies and schedule-driven project management.
In all, Paradigm employs five senior project managers, a business administrator, and a marketer.
“Owners that have never built a project before don’t really understand all that’s involved,” Fisher says. “We like to help owners find the right architect and the right contractor that has the right synergy, and then based on a qualifications process and interviews … put together a team that’s going to deliver the best outcome for a project.”
Paradigm’s work includes homes, schools, commercial, health care, and industrial projects. The most recently completed project in Coeur d’Alene that inspired the company to open an office in Lake City is Elevate Academy North, a charter school located at 3716 E. Killdeer in Post Falls, which opened in the fall of 2022. The project took 14 months to complete, allowing the company to become better acquainted with the area, Fisher says.
