What drives you/inspires you? My children and my students at Whitworth University drive my eagerness to serve and make the world a better place.
Who has been a significant influence in your life and career? My grandfather in Puerto Rico. His knowledge was beyond that of a college-educated person because he was an avid reader. His work ethic was incredible and his faith in God was unwavering.
What advice would you have for others looking to follow a career path similar to yours? I would advise them to create a vision for their life. You persevere until you get there. You also surround yourself with positive people and lean into your faith for support and inspiration.
