The Spokane office of Coffman Engineers Inc. has hired three people. From left to right, Ryan Cochran has been added to Coffman's civil engineering team as an engineer-in-training. Cochran previously worked for Spring Environmental. Shawna Kurimura has been named human resources generalist. Kurimura previously was Human Resources coordinator at David Evans & Associates. Aniessa Thornton is an electrical engineering drafter for the company. Thornton returns to Coffman after a stint at Fusion Architecture.
The Idaho Central Spokane Valley Performing Arts Center has hired David Baker as its inaugural technical director. Baker has more than 30 years of experience in theater and has worked with Spokane Valley Summer Theatre in the past.
Nara Shin has been promoted to communications coordinator at Thrive International, a Spokane nonprofit that provides transitional housing to refugees and immigrants. A recent Whitworth University graduate, Shin previously had worked as a communications intern at Thrive.
Jacob Lewis has joined the team at Architects West as an intern architect. Lewis earned both his bachelor's and Master of Architecture degrees from Washington State University.
Providence Medical Group, of Spokane, has named Dr. Don Ericson as the division lead of physiatry for the Inland Northwest service area. Ericson has been on the physiatry team at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center since 2019 and has served as practice lead physician since 2021.
Nonprofit organization Millwood Impact has hired Peyton Prudente as Star Club program coordinator. Prudente previously served as assistant program coordinator at Generation Alive.
Spokane City Credit Union has promoted Deanna Hanley to president and CEO from vice president. Hanley succeeds Gene Fitzpatrick, who has retired after seven years with the credit union.
The Spokane office of Kutak Rock LLP law firm has added Lesley Gangelhoff as an associate attorney. Gangelhoff previously served as a clerk for Judge Thomas O. Rice, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
Christopher Greene has joined the Spokane office of the Williams Kastner & Gibbs PLLC law firm in an of-counsel role. Greene previously served as an attorney at the McNeice Wheeler PLLC law firm, in Spokane.
Prime Real Estate Group, of Spokane has added Tracy Ganson as a licensed real estate agent. A recent transplant from Alberta, Canada, Ganson previously worked as a change management consultant.

Spokane City Council member Zack Zappone has been awarded a Certificate of Municipal Leadership from the Association of Washington Cities. AWC's Certificate of Municipal Leadership program recognizes city and town elected officials for completing training in roles, responsibilities, and legal requirements; public sector resource management; community planning and development; effective local leadership; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The Association of Washington Business has awarded former CEO of Avista Corp. Scott Morris the Legacy of Leadership award. Morris retired from Avista Corp. in 2019 after nearly 40 years with the company and was recognized for his contributions to the community, including development of the University District and bringing two medical schools to Spokane.

Tyson Foods has donated 40,000 pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank as part of Hunger Action Month and Tyson Foods' commitment to provide 2.5 million pounds of protein to Feed America.
