The Journal of Business has selected its 2023 class of Rising Stars.
They are:

•Ryan Arnold, vice president of investments and partnerships at My Green Lab.
•Cola Boyer, Kalispel Leadership Academy administrator, Kalispel Tribe of Indians.
•Stephaine Courtney, executive director, The Learning Project Network.
•Jessica Garza, founder, Market in the Mountains.
•Matt Meyer, director of entertainment, Spokane Public Facilities District.
•Nichole Mischke, founder, Nichole Mischke Media LLC/Uncovered.
•Dr. Oladunni Oluwoye, assistant professor, Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.
•Tony Reed, senior director of innovations and partnerships, Spiceology Inc.
•Brandon Rose, branch manager, Washington Trust Bank.
This year’s honorees will be recognized in an event from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Barrister Winery, at 1213 W. Railroad, in downtown Spokane. Tickets for the event are now available at spokanejournal.com/events.
The 2023 class of Rising Stars is the 10th the Journal has recognized. To be eligible for Rising Stars, individuals must be under 40 years old, work in the Spokane-Coeur d’Alene area, and demonstrate excellence in their chosen fields and leadership in the business community as a whole.
The year’s honorees were selected by the Journal news team from a group of nominations received from the newspaper’s readers over the past month.
In all, the Journal received nearly 80 nominations this year.
