Freedom RV Inc., a recreational-vehicle dealership in Spokane Valley, has bought a building at 7807 E. Sprague that it had leased for about a year.
Barry Danzig, who co-owns Freedom RV with his father, Murray Danzig, says the company bought the facility from the Hollenback family, which owns the Dishman Dodge dealership across Sprague Avenue from Freedom RV. Dishman Dodge previously had operated its used-car department out of that structure.
Barry Danzig declines to disclose the terms of the transaction, which was handled by Samuel L. Campbell, of The Campbell Co.
Freedom RVs dealership facility includes about 16,000 square feet of floor space and is situated on about 2 1/2 acres. In addition to sales offices, the structure houses a six-bay service department and a parts department.
The dealership, which sells both new and used RVs, carries an inventory of about 80 vehicles, Danzig says, including new makes from manufacturers such as Fleetwood, Mallard, and Comfort.
The dealership has been in business for two years, he says. Before moving to its current location, it had been in smaller quarters nearby on Appleway Boulevard.
In addition to Freedom RV, Barry Danzig and his wife, Jennifer, own First Choice Auto Sales Inc.
That 7-year-old used-car dealership is located at 7103 E. Sprague, in the former West Valley Mazda building. First Choice moved into that 25,000-square-foot structure last year from a smaller lot across Sprague from it.
