A limited-liability company owned jointly by four Spokane and North Idaho dental practices is constructing a $4 million professional building in Post Falls in which each of the practices will have space.
The company, Post Falls Specialty Dental LLC, is owned by Spokane Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, of Spokane; Jaeger Curtis Orthodontics, of Coeur dAlene; Access Endodontic Specialists, of Sandpoint; and Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, of Post Falls.
Spokane Oral Maxillofacial currently has offices on the South Hill and in Spokane Valley, says Marla Telin, a spokeswoman for the practice.
Silvey Construction Inc., of Spokane, is the contractor on the new two-story building, with basement, that will include about 25,500 square feet of space in Post Falls. It will be located at 600 Calgary Court, in the Interstate Business Center, Telin says. The architect for the building is OMS Inc., of Spokane.
Silvey broke ground on the project last month and is expected to complete it by next June, Telin says.
The four dental groups currently have eight doctors of dentistry between them. The structure the practices will occupy also will have a continuing education center and conference area that the practices will share.
The new building will allow Jaeger Curtis and Access Endodontic to open second offices, while Little Smiles will relocate there from its current Post Falls office, says Telin.
The opening of three new dental offices in Post Falls will provide an additional 10 to 20 job opportunities, estimates Telin.
