Commercial office furniture company Business Interiors of Idaho has opened its first Spokane store at 408 W. Third downtown.
The 35-year-old Boise, Idaho-based company debuted the store a month ago in a 1,000-square-foot showroom floor.
“We’ve been operating by appointment-only up to this point,” says company CEO Jeff Heath. His parents, Mark and Betty Heath, founded the company.
Once a student at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, Jeff Heath says he’s long been fond of Spokane and is excited for the company to have a presence here.
“Spokane is seeing an influx of new businesses relocating there, and we think this will be a good opportunity for us to capitalize on that,” he says.
In addition to general company office space, Heath says Business Interiors of Idaho also has several hospitals and universities among its clientele.
“My goal is for the company to have a presence in more of Eastern Washington, Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Western Montana,” Heath says.
