Prium Development LLC, a Tacoma-based real estate development concern whose sister company bought the big Rock Pointe Corporate Center here late last year, plans to develop a 54-acre industrial park near Spokane International Airport.
The development site is located along the south side of Electric Avenue, just across that street from where the Federal Aviation Administration is building a 264-foot-tall air-traffic control tower. The park would be called Prium Industrial Park.
Chris Bell, an agent with Tomlinson Black Commercial Inc. whos marketing the park, says it includes 13 industrial lots that range in size from just under an acre to just over 10 acres.
Bell says some infrastructure improvements could start at the site this spring.
Also, he says, Prium Development is considering constructing a speculative building on one lot in the park to kick off activity there.
Details for such a project havent been firmed up yet, but the structure would include roughly 20,000 square feet of floor space and a mix of office and warehouse space.
A cost estimate on that possible structure isnt available yet, he says.
Prium Development bought the land for the industrial park last August, Bell says.
In November, Prium Developments sister company, Prium Cos., bought Rock Pointe Corporate Center for $82.8 million from Spokane developers Walt and Karen Worthy. That office complex includes 563,000 square feet of office space in four buildings, parking for 2,000 vehicles, and about 13 acres of land.
Prium also owns Trent Plaza, a two-story, 72,000-square-foot office building at 8517 E. Trent, in Spokane Valley.
