Construction is expected to begin next spring on a 45-lot, gated golf community to be called Bella Lago, in Liberty Lake.
The 47-acre housing development is north of Valleyway Avenue adjacent to the east edge of MeadowWood Golf Course and near Liberty Lake Golf Course. It will have lots ranging in size from a half-acre to 3 acres, says Dave Dhaenens, of Tomlinson Black Valley Inc., who is the listing agent for the development.
He estimates that lot prices will start at about $200,000, and high-end homes with values starting at around $600,000 will be built on the lots.
Most lots will have a lake view, Dhaenens says, adding, Its all treed in, and it has a lot of wildlife.
The Spokane-based developers who make up Bella Lago LLC, are home builder George White, Wayne Frost, who is a former Centennial Properties executive, and retailer Massoud Emami.
Up to five lots in the development will have direct access to MeadowWood Golf Course via their own cart paths, he says.
Roads and sewer connections will be constructed in the spring as weather permits, he says. Construction on the lots can begin as soon as the roads go in, Dhaenens says.
DCI Engineers Inc., a Bellevue-based firm with a Spokane office, is working on the infrastructure.
George White Homes Inc., will build on some of the lots, although buyers will have the option of hiring their own builders, Dhaenens says.
He says he expects buyers to be a mix of primary residents and second-home owners.
Bella Lago is the third gated community in Liberty Lake, following The Estates at MeadowWood on King James Lane, south of Mission Avenue, and Legacy Ridge, located south of Appleway Avenue and west of Liberty Lake Road.
