Business owner Russell Fleming recently has rebranded and retooled the former Petunias Marketplace and is now operating it as Vettore Café.
Located in the Monroe Business District at 2010 N. Madison in the Emerson Garfield neighborhood just north of downtown, Fleming’s daughter, Alyssa Fleming, says the café carries a heavy Italian theme.
Also serving as home to Mutu Coffee Roasters, a Certified B Corporation, Vettore has a complete espresso bar that operates 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
On Friday and Saturday, wine and beer by the glass are served from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., or until close. Charcuterie boards are also available during that time, she says.
With seating for 24, Vettore also serves Italian dinners by reservation only. Each month, a new Italian wine is featured from a different region of Italy, she says.
“There is currently a waitlist, so you have to either call or go to the website to make a reservation,” she says.
