Financial adviser Steve Listzwan has formed Goldenview Financial LLC and has opened an office on Spokane's South Hill.
The single-person operation occupies about 450 square feet of floor space on the second floor of the Ben Burr Building, at 4915 S. Regal.
Goldenview Financial is registered as an investment advisory firm registered with the securities division of the Washington state Department of Financial Institutions (DFI).
DFI says registered investment advisory firms are required to put clients' interests ahead of their own by providing advice and investment recommendations they view as best for their clients.
Listwan says clients' portfolios include brokerage accounts and individual retirement accounts that typically are made up of indexed mutual funds and exchange-traded funds.
Goldenview charges clients a fee for independent financial planning advice and avoids unseen commissions or kickbacks related to the products that it recommends to minimize any perceived conflicts of interest, Listzwan says.
He has master's degrees in business administration from Syracuse University, in Syracuse, N.Y., and in financial planning from Bentley University, near Boston, he says.
Listzwan also has 18 years of experience working in senior-management-level corporate-finance and human-resource roles for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, he says.
