T.W. Clark to begin work soon on $2.5 million project in Selah

June 16, 2011

T.W. Clark Construction LLC, of Spokane Valley, has landed a contract for a $2.5 million project that involves erecting a utility maintenance facility for the city of Selah, Wash., about four miles north of Yakima.

Scott Rountree, a T.W. Clark Construction project manager, says construction is expected to start in late June and will take seven months to complete.

The work involves erecting a single-story steel frame building with about 21,000 square feet of floor space, including a mezzanine level and an attached wood frame administration area. The erection of a separate 4,800-square-foot pole building for covered storage also is included in the project, along with other site improvements, such as a chain-link fencing, gates, and asphalt paving.

The site is on city-owned property at 222 S. Rushmore, in Selah. The Yakima-based firm Brockway, Opfer, Raab Architecture PLLC designed the project.
