Tempe, Ariz.-based technology company Insight Enterprises Inc. has moved its operations here to larger Liberty Lake quarters at 22425 E. Appleway.
Founded in 1988, Insight Enterprises provides information technology hardware, software, and service products to small and mid-market companies across a number of industries, including health care, education, as well as federal, state, and local governments.
David Mayer, vice president of product management software for Insight, says the company has operations in 22 countries, serves clients in more than 200 countries and territories, and has about 6,000 employees worldwide.
He says through a series of acquisitions, Insight has had a presence in Liberty Lake for almost 22 years.
“Originally Egghead Inc. relocated to Liberty Lake and opened its doors there in January of 1995,” he says. “Egghead was then purchased by Software Spectrum, which was purchased by Level 3 Communications, and then by Insight in 2006.”
Formerly located in a 19,900-square-foot office space at 22721 E. Mission, the company now has moved to a 33,000-square-foot space in the Liberty Lake Business Park.
Mayer says the company’s new location includes 206 personal desk spaces, three offices, eight conference rooms, a 110-seat auditorium, a break room, and other features.
Insight has 133 employees here now and currently is hiring for four open positions, but Mayer says the company’s new space leaves room for expansion.
“We have leased space larger than the current team needs to be able to expand our operations in Spokane over the coming years,” he says.
